Kim Hughes

Kim Hughes has over 20 years combined experience in the fields of environmental chemistry, resource conservation management and sustainable building practices. With a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and over ten years of business management experience, Kim specializes in developing projects with potential for integrating sustainable practices within business or organizational operations.

Kim’s projects include marketing and development of professional education programs in the areas of energy-efficiency and green building. She is responsible for bringing the Sustainable Building Advisor Program to Portland and Bend, Oregon and is lead instructor for both programs (www.nasbap.org). She teaches Sustainable Business Practices in the Environmental Health and Safety Program at Mt Hood Community College and is on the Advisory Board for that program.
