Hanling Yang

Senior Program Manager, China-U.S. Center for Sustainable Development

Hanling Yang is Director of the Center’s training programs and relationships with the Ministry of Land and Resources and the Ministry of Construction. She is also responsible for the research, analysis and management of a cross section of China-related enterprises. As a member of the Bar, she is also called upon to provide initial advice regarding domestic and international issues.

Prior to her current position, Hanling served as a lecturer at the Foreign Language Department at the Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering in China . In addition, she also served as an interpreter and translator for Hubei Hydroelectric Society.

Hanling received her J.D. from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in Portland , Oregon and a BA in English from the Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering, Wuhan , China. Hanling is a member of the Oregon State Bar.
