Ping Zhong

China Representative for the U.S. Secretariat of the China-U.S. Center for Sustainable Development

Ping Zhong is the China Representative for the U.S. Secretariat of the China-U.S. Center for Sustainable Development. In that capacity, he is responsible for representing the Center and acting as a liaison with various partners in China, coordinating and implementing targeted actions in natural resource and education based projects in China.

Prior to his current position, Ping served as a consultant at ZFK Environmental & Energy Consultancy in Beijing, also served as a short term expert for EU-China Energy and Environment Programme.

Ping received his M.E. Degree in Environment Engineering from Sichuan University, China, a M.S Degree in Environment Policy from Wageningen University, the Netherlands, and a B.A. Degree in Environmental Monitoring from Sichuan University, China.
